"Winter Vernissage 2017" from the Society of Hungarian Artists of Transcarpathia named after I. Revesz

On 21 December 2017, in the exhibition hall of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum named after Y. Bokshai, it was held the exhibition of members of the Society of Hungarian artists of Transcarpathia named after Imre Revesz. The exhibition is entitled "Winter Vernissage 2017".

The exhibition, which takes place not for the first time, presents 63 paintings. These are the works of 21 artists. All of them are the members of the Society of Hungarian Artists of Transcarpathia named after Imre Revesz.

At the exhibition "Winter Vernissage 2017", presented are painting, graphics, works of decorative and applied arts. Visitors were able to see the works of Agnes Boroteia, Robert Tovt, Ferenc Erfán, Tibor Villasek, Vladyslav Habda, Dyuri Dykun, Vasyl Sochka and other famous Transcarpathian artists.

Among the presented works there are traditional landscapes of Transcarpathia, still lifes, abstract and expressive works, sculptural and ceramic works, wooden and metal plastic, which filled and enriched the exposition space.

Chairman of the Society of Hungarian Artists of Transcarpathia named after I. Revesz Agnes Kulina said that most of the works presented at the exhibition were created during this year.

On the opening day, it was announced the winners of the special prize named after Imre Revesz. They were the Transcarpathian sculptor Vasyl Sochka and a historian, Ex-Consul General of Hungary in Berehovo Istvan Tovt.

The "Winter Vernissage 2017" in the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum will last until 10 January 2018.
