“Winter 2019”

Members of the Youth Association of the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine convinced that winter can be not only cold and colourless, but also expressive and not banal. On 20 February 2019, in the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, it was opened an exhibition under the title “Winter 2019”.
More than 20 union members shared their latest works. Head of the Youth Association Oleksii Fedor tells: “Every year at the end of winter we show our latest achievements, therefore it has already become a good tradition. The works are combined with the theme and performed during this winter. Each author could present what he considered necessary and show the winter as he sees it.”
The exhibition is quite multifaceted: among almost 40 works, in addition to classical oil painting, there are graphics, bulk ceramics, and ceramic panels.
“Our Youth Association is a very powerful and large team,” said the head of the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Borys Kuzma at the opening of the exhibition. – By their art they begin to dictate fashion, to form traditions, and views.”
The exhibition will last for two weeks.
