"MAY WANDERINGS-2017" IN UZHHOROD – CROSS-SECTION OF YOUTH TRENDS IN ART

New ideas, a fresh look, a special perception – on May 10, 2017 it was opened an art exhibition at "Uzhhorod" gallery which is, in fact, a cross-section of contemporary youth trends in art.

The exhibition entitled "May Wanderings" takes place in the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Erdeli Readings" and will last until May 18, 2017.
The exhibition, which has already become traditional, is presented by 33 young authors-students of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts and College of Arts named after A. Erdeli. Concerning the subject, the exhibition presents landscapes and still lifes, genre compositions, graphic works, and icon painting. In a technical sense, the exhibition is even more rich and diverse: there are easel painting, computer graphics, engraving, film, printing on fabric, wood carving, etc.
Although the name of the exhibition largely gravitates to the theme of spring, the organizers say that they did not set the goal of limiting artists to certain frameworks. Rather the opposite - the exhibition is aimed to show the individuality and manner of drawing of each individual author. Accordingly, Nelia Kutsyn, Oleksandr Storozhuk, Nataliia Kovchar, Yulia Buria, Maksym Hospodynchyk, Vladyslav Neikaliuk, Evelina Santo, Alona Peresta, Kateryna Shelevytska, Yuri iDurdynets, Yulianna Hahel, Dmytro Shakhaida, Daryna Zadorozhnia, Daniil Chupikov, Liliia Likhtei, Taras Hodvan, Liubov Shpak, Vasyl Derbal, Kateryna Toporkova, Nelia Kemeniash, Yana Mahei, Yaroslava Katran, Vladyslav Beretski, Oleksandra Didyk, Diana Rokitsak, Adelina Khomyn, Kateryna Mykhailova, Oksana Melnyk, Antonina Hrechyn, Anhelina Hafynets, Vladyslav Horbunov, Vitalii Kinch, and Taras Korzh provided their works - by their own choice and preferences .
As it was noted during the opening of "May Wanderings-2017" by the Transcarpathian artists, lecturers of the academy and college, the exhibition gives an opportunity for young artists to show themselves primarily as a creative person and also to see themselves from the outside, look at their work in the environment of the colleagues, and the major thing is to get an incentive to work and create further.
