“Treasures of Berehovo”

In the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, it was presented the exhibition of artworks by the Berehovo City Council of Education and Culture. The exposition opened on 3 July 2019.

The presented canvases were united by the title “Treasures of Berehovo” for a reason – they all reflect the little things that add up to real treasures: architectural and natural.

The works were made in different techniques: there is oil, watercolour, acrylic, and ink with gilding. The colour palette often takes the viewer to deep golden autumn or blooming spring: here you will see rich still lifes, the colour of Transcarpathian Cherry blossoms and a luxurious outfit of the Carpathian forest.

21 artists joined the plein airs; the exhibition presents works from 19 of them.

In general, the exhibition presents a selection of work from nearly three dozen works performed during three plein airs.

The exhibition will last in Skansen until 19 July 2019.
