GRADUATES OF TRANSCARPATHIAN ACADEMY OF ARTS RECEIVED THEIR DIPLOMAS AND SPECIAL PRIZES

July 7, 2017 in Uzhhorod it was held the presentation of diplomas to graduates of the Uzhhorod College of Arts named after A. Erdeli and Transcarpathian Academy of Arts. More than a hundred young talented girls and boys gathered in the Art Centre Ilko in order to obtain documents on vocational education.

For them, as well as for lecturers, this day is a historical one, because it was the first awarding of the diplomas of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts-one year ago the art institution was renamed and it received such a high status. After the welcoming speech the rector of the Academy Ivan Nebesnyk presented diplomas to 48 bachelors and 13 specialists - graduates of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts and 58 junior specialists-graduates of the College of Arts named after A. Erdeli (structural division of the Academy).

The highlight of the event was the presentation of a special prize from the members of the Supervisory Board of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts Robert Brovdi and Ivan Voloshyn.This council was founded last year as a collegial body to comprehensively help and promote the activities of the Academy. At the same time, Robert Brovdi and Ivan Voloshyn established a special fund to support the most gifted students and provide annual personal awards to the best graduates and their diploma mentors. "Our initiative is created to motivate students who graduate from the Academy and are entering a real artistic life," Ivan Voloshyn said during his speech. - When determining the winner, which, by the way, was the only one this year, we were guided by three main criteria - an interesting idea, a perfect artistic performance, and relevance".

Thus, the winner of a special prize from members of the Supervisory Board of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts Robert Brovdi and Ivan Voloshyn became a graduate of the Faculty of Design and Decorative and Applied Arts Veronika Shtal. The advisor of her thesis work-a lecturer Tetiana Shpontak,and she received a certificate and special prize of 10,000 UAH. “Any degree work is a painstaking work of a student and a supervisor, that's why we mark and congratulate both, wishing strength and good prospects,” Ivan Voloshyn added. For the future, we urge students and lecturers not to be afraid of experiments, to be more courageous, modern and creative!".
