An artist-amateur, painter
She was born on 6 January 1957 in Yaremcha, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Since her childhood, she absorbed the beauty of her native land. In her childhood, she painted walls and windows in unsettled rooms of the house with amazing flowers.
In 1974, she graduated from the school and entered the Ivano-Frankivsk Pedagogical Institute, Department of Elementary Education, where she attended lectures by a well-known teacher and painter M. Fihol, not knowing that many years later she would feel an irresistible attraction to art. Her relatives – the artists Ovsiannikovs from St. Petersburg, who often stayed in Rakhiv, supported the searches of an amateur artist. They introduced the basics of painting techniques to the girl. The first attempts, in their opinion, were successful and, inspired by creating a painting, Hanna started her way to art.
In a year, in 2006, after her first attempts, with the support of the patrons Yurii Bendak and Petro Popovych, she prepared her first personal exhibition under the title “My soul will respond...”. She presented over 30 works to the art admirers. In subsequent years she participated in city exhibitions. The second personal exhibition “Melodies of my land” was held in 2009, the next one – in a year in Dolyna, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
“Love for the world flows from the soul with the light streams through the fingertips,” the artist thinks and strives to implement her own worldview in her paintings, which are, by the way, kept in private collections both in Ukraine and abroad.
