Creativity of Larysa Selikhova is presented in many genres of painting, the subjects of her works are nature, people, urban sceneries. In the technique she prefers oil on canvas and watercolours. The palette of the artist is restrained, with certain notes of nostalgia.

Favourite colour is violet, with help of which the master can often convey feelings, emotions, mood. The watercolours of L. Selikhova depict the architecture of different epochs and styles of Uzhhorod from the XVII to the XX centuries: “Church of the Transfiguration”, “Episcopal Residence”, “Pidhirna Street”, “Koriatovych Square”, “F. Rakoci Street” and other. The value of the drawings lies in the fact that they reproduce the type of buildings before they were touched by inexorable time of bad taste, inept restoration or complete destruction.
