ROHAL MYKOLA

In 1970, he graduated from the Department of Art Painting at Uzhhorod College of Applied Arts. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1995. The artist works in many genres: monumental, decorative, and applied arts, landscape gardening sculpture, plasticity of small forms, metal art working, mural, decorative painting, collage, application. Plastic images of the artist on canvas, stone, metal impress with immediacy of forms, colours, lines, lightness and playfulness of combinations.

For the artist’s original creative style, he is often called "form creator". He does not recognize the established canons, his figurative worlds are dynamic, original and unexpected. Any form can at any moment turn into another, leaving the impression of pure joy of transformation.

Participant of art exhibitions: regional – since 1972, all-Ukrainian – since 1995, foreign (Hungary, Slovakia) – since 1992. He had two personal exhibitions in Uzhhorod – "Moon of Being" (1995) and "Garden of Harmony" (1999). Now the artist rarely exhibits his works in public, he is satisfied by process of creation, his own form sphere.
