TOVT ROBERT

Member of the Association of Professional Artists of Transcarpathia (2003), Association of Hungarian Artists of Transcarpathia named after Imre Revesz (2005). He was born in Uzhhorod. He studied in children and youth art studio of Zoltan Bakoniia, then within two consecutive years he took private lessons in painting from an artist V. Petretskyi.

The creative works of the artist are full of landscapes and still lifes, sometimes - portraits. The works executed in a realistic manner mainly with oil, seldom with watercolour. With the greatest pleasure the author paints beauty of the native Carpathians in different seasons. “It is not so much important what it is around - plains or mountains, forests or rivers, the important thing is Mother Nature. I like it the most. But, I reproduce it through my own vision of the world,”- the artist says. Since 1998 the artist has been an active participant of regional and international exhibitions and plein airs. He held personal exhibitions in Uzhhorod (1999), Hungary (2000, 2005), in Kyiv and Rivne (2017).
