He was born in Vynohradiv, Transcarpathian region. He studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Lviv Polytechnic Institute. He has begun active artistic life since 1985. In addition to the landscape he works in various thematic genres – ethnographic themes, underground, modern art, fantasy, esoteric painting. The aesthetics of his works are complex, like the world, but a sincere desire to convey to the viewer his vision of the world testifies to the artist's bright creative nature.
The circle of creative interests of the artist is very wide – he makes us think, go deeply spiritually, realize eternity. Every time, he opens the world to himself in a different way and generously presents his vision of beauty and harmony to people. His paintings are self-sufficient art with elements of folk imagery. At the same time, the artist's works, despite their diversity, make an impression of integrity. Lyrism, mystery, mood of ambiguity envelop the viewer. Nature endowed the artist with a philosophical mentality, a good temper, a multifaceted talent, and it is easy to read in his works. In whatever genre the artist works, he creates original and unique works that distinguish him from other artists.
He is an active figure of the scientific-creative association "Oikumena". He is an organizer of the plein-airs and collective exhibitions. Participant of foreign collective and personal exhibitions in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany, Ukraine, for which he has been awarded a number of honorary diplomas.
