FEDOR OLEKSII

He has been engaged in fine art since school years, participated in district and regional student competitions and contests. In 2004 he graduated from the design department of Uzhhorod College of Arts named after A. Erdeli. In 2010 he received a master's degree in Lviv National Academy of Arts majoring in "interior designer, lecturer, and researcher." Since 2010 he has been working as a lecturer of professional and profile disciplines at the faculty of design of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts. In 2014 he entered the Youth Associations under Transcarpathian National Union of Artists of Ukraine, and in 2017 he headed it.

The artist has been an active participant of regional, all-Ukrainian, and international art exhibitions since 2004. He held four personal exhibitions of his painting and graphic works in Uzhhorod.

Artist's painting is realistic, non-conflict, chamber, with clear composition and perspective structure. Landscape is dominated among the favourite genres of the artist. He prefers live painting (a la prima), rather than in studio. In graphic arts he uses ink-pen technique. He believes that true art is created when a person works to his/her heart’s content, heartily, and with love.
