LUTSENKO IHOR

He graduated from Uzhhorod School of Applied Art (1989, Art Ceramics Department) and Lviv Academy of Arts (1998, Textile Department, 2012 – post-graduate course). Since 2000 he has worked as a lecturer at Uzhhorod College of Arts named after A. Erdeli, and since 2003 at Transcarpathian Art Institute. PhD. in Art History. In 2014 he defended his thesis “Transcarpathian Painting of the late XIX - first half of the XX centuries: genres, artistic and stylistic features”. Since 2015 – an Associate Professor of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts, Chair of Drawing. Laureate of the Regional Prize named after Y. Bokshai and A. Erdeli (2017).

He actively combines teaching with artistic creativity. The member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since his student years he has been a constant participant of regional, national and international collective exhibitions and plein-airs. The paintings of the artist are kept in private collections of Ukraine, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Canada, the USA.
