KOROVAI INNA

She was born on October 19, 1978 in Kyiv. Until 2000 she has been in a creative search: she took private drawing lessons, engaged in experimental painting and studied on her own. A great influence on the formation of I. Korovai's creativity had her stay in Los Angeles (USA) from 2002 to 2007, where she studied painting at special private schools. Then she moved for permanent residence in Mukachevo.

Among the genres on the canvases of the artist, still-lives and landscapes prevail. Connoisseurs note that the paintings are characterized by cheerfulness, light energy and realistic execution.

The founder of the creative group "Expromt", where besides of her also includes her husband – artist Mykhailo Sahun, as well as Valentyn Sotov. The group performed a lot of interesting actions, in particular, it was an advertising campaign of the shopping centre, a joint exhibition with the artist Vitalii Zvenyhorodskyi, an exhibition of one painting, etc. Also, the group's paintings became the face of the famous candy brand in Mukachevo.

The artist has a number of joint works, performed together with her husband, Mykhailo Sahun. Participant in all-Ukrainian and international art exhibitions since 1990. Personal exhibitions were held in Uzhhorod, Mukachevo, Lviv and Kyiv. He also held exhibitions in the USA - namely in St. Louis (Missouri) and Los Angeles.

The artist's works are kept in private collections in Ukraine and the US – in the museums "Getty", "LACMA", at the University "UCLA" in Los Angeles, as well as in the famous Hugh Hefner – the founder of the magazine "Play boy."
