Biography

Member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine (2015). He was born in 1969 in Sokyrnytsia village of Khust district Transcarpathian region. From 1990 to 1994 he studied at Uzhhorod College of Applied Arts, and from 1994 to 2000–at Lviv State Academy of Arts. Since 2000 he has been a lecturer of the College of Arts named after A. Erdeli under Transcarpathian Institute of Arts (now-Transcarpathian Academy of Arts).

In the artistic creativity he prefers watercolours, graphics, and oil painting techniques. Among the artist's genre preference there are landscapes, still lifes, portraits. The artist’s subject of creative interests is stained-glass. In particular, he was involved in the restoration of stained- glass in Uzhhorod Greek Catholic Holy Cross Cathedral (built in 1646). In one of the oldest architectural monuments of Ukraine-Horiany rotunda (XII-XIII cent.), the artist executed the project on new iconostasis creating.

The participant of regional, national, and international group exhibitions. His personal exhibition “Apple” was held in 2006 in Uzhhorod. The artist’s works can be found in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
