Biography

An artist of the new generation of Transcarpathian School of Painting. He got a profound art education, graduating from Mukachevo Children's Art School named after M. Munkacsy as well as Uzhhorod College of Arts named after A. Erdeli and Transcarpathian Art Institute. In his student years he became the winner of All-Ukrainian Contest of Academic Drawing in Kharkiv (2009). Now he works as a Professor at the College of Arts named after A. Erdeli and Transcarpathian Art Academy. He is the author of personal exhibitions in Ukraine (Uzhhorod), Slovakia (Svidník, Prešov), Poland (Sanok) and Hungary (Budapest). In 2015 the artist represented Ukraine in the Netherlands in the framework of the art project Embassy Art Exhibitions (art exhibitions of the embassies), organized by the Diplomat Magazine publication and Parties van Dorst gallery (the Hague). Laureate of the Regional Prize named after Y. Bokshai and A. Erdeli.

The artist works in oil, watercolour and graphic painting. The genre palette of the artist is full of city and nature landscapes. His works are vivid and emotional. The artist has a distinctive style and stylistics - graphic works are filled with air, easiness and grace.
