Biography
He was born in Vynohradiv, Transcarpathian region. At various stages of creativity his teachers were Stepan Sieroukhov, Nadiia Didyk, and Ihor Yevdokimov. Becoming a free artist, he improved his knowledge by himself, mastering art techniques. The artist lives and works in Uzhhorod.
Oil and watercolour paintings prevail among his works. He creates mostly from life, preferring to work in plein air than in the studio. His pictures are realistic, elegant, elaborated to the minute details.
The subjects of the works are diverse–portraits, nude, mountain landscapes, as well as architectural ensembles of the cities and wooden churches of Transcarpathia.
About his stylistic art preferences he says as follows: “Among all the art trends, I am greatly impressed by those in which connection with the world around is not broken.”
A participant of numerous plein airs, city and regional exhibitions.
