HOSPODYNCHYK MAKSYM

Born in Polonne, Khmelnytskyi region. In 2013 he graduated from Children's Art School in his hometown, in 2015 entered the Painting Department of Mukachevo Transcarpathian branch of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts. His mother, Tetiana Hospodynchyk and her sister Svitlana Slyvia, who work in the genre of music, drama, and opera, instilled him a love of creativity from his childhood. The first teachers and mentors of a talented young man were Mukachevo painters Atilla Kopryva and Yurii Shelevytskyi.

The young artist only forms his own creative role, being in active genre and thematic search. “I try my strength in different directions and styles, it's painting and graphic searches, experiments with different materials, working with photography, etc.,” - he admits. In the subject of works he gravitates to stylized compositions using archaic motifs and symbols, and not avoiding at the same time cityscapes, still lifes, and portraits. His favourite techniques - acrylic, oil, graphic materials, pastel. He is fond of ethnics and archetypics of Ukraine and East countries. The music of DakhaBraha and Dakh Daughters bands makes a strong impression on the artist. He is repeated participant of student art contests and exhibitions. The prize-winner in 2 nominations of the 1st All-Ukrainian Student Contest in Painting "Silver Easel" (October 2016) and in 3 nominations of the 2nd Contest "Silver Easel" (April 2017).
