Biography

He works in easel and monumental painting. The artist was born in Uzhhorod. Since the age of five he studied at Uzhhorod children's School of Arts, his teacher was a famous artist Emma Levadska. He also studied in the studio of O. Hromovyi. In 1997, for the first time he participated in fine art contest arranged in the memory of Zoltan Bakoniia, and became one of three of winners. Later, he repeatedly became the prize winner of national and international children's contests and festivals. Since 2001, he has been the member of the children's and youth artistic association "Small Luver".

In 2014, he graduated from Lviv National Academy of Arts (his teachers were I. Shumskyi, Ya. Shymin, A. Maksymenko, L. Medvid, M. Andrushchenko), but continued his post-graduate studying and working as a lecturer at the monumental painting department of the Academy. He held his first personal exhibition (together with H. Lazarashvili) at age of nine in Uzhhorod! And in two years he had the next exhibition titled "Silhouettes of acoustics" (2002) together with a sculptor V. Roman and an artist F. Seman. In 2004 and 2006, it was held next personal exhibitions of the artist in Uzhhorod. Since then, he has been the permanent participant of all-Ukrainian and international art exhibitions and plein-airs (Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Uzhhorod, Kyiv, Lviv (Ukraine).

Paintings of the artist fascinate the viewer and incline to contemplation. They are characterized by hidden story fable: realistic images are intertwined with complicated forms, geometric figures, and lines. Features of his style are emphasized by the surrealistic compositional solutions and feeling of a dream in reality - "lucid dream", in combination with successful colour palette. The picturesque canvases of the artist can be found in collections of Kyiv Museum of Modern Ukrainian Art, Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum named after I. Bokshai, and also in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
