BORETSKA-HRABAR NATALIIA

Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2004). Laureate of the Regional Prize named after Y. Bokshai and A. Erdeli (2011). She was born in Uzhhorod. In 1983, she graduated from the Department of Art Ceramics of the Uzhhorod College of Applied Arts and in 1990 – from Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. Her teachers were – M. Puhlyk, T. Yanko, V. Panasiuk. She received the first prize in the nomination “Academic Ceramics” of the IV National international exhibition-contest of art ceramics “KeramPIC in Opishne" for the work "Forms" (Opishe, Poltava, 2012)

Nataliia Boretska-Hrabar is the author of numerous works of art plastic, small and three-dimensional decorative forms. Creative style of ceramic products of neo avant-garde direction is bright, extraordinary and easily recognizable. She works with the varieties of ceramics – porcelain, stone mass, majolica. The source of the artist's inspiration is the ancient Slavic archaic and traditions of pottery painting of the tribal peoples of Africa, Asia and South America. Decorative panels, compositions and spatial plastics ceramists differ in optical ease, minimal load of geometric lines and colours and undoubtedly fit and harmoniously look in modern interiors.

Participant of regional, all-Ukrainian (since 1991) and international (since 1995) art exhibitions.  Solo exhibitions of the author was held in Ukraine and abroad: participant of the exhibition "Decorative art of Ukraine of the end of the twentieth century – 200 names" (Kyiv, 2003) and an international exhibition devoted to the 50th anniversary of the membership of Ukrine in UNESCO (Paris, 2004). Works of the artist are stored in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
