Nora Adrian (previously known as Olena Chuprova) was born in Murmansk (Russia), and three years later her family moved to Uzhhorod.
She graduated from the Philological Faculty of the Uzhhorod National University. She worked as a journalist on the local television (Transcarpathian Regional State Broadcasting Company “Tysa”). Later she continued her television career in Kyiv. In 1999, she left for Berlin (Germany). There she entered the Berlin Academy of Arts, where she mastered the basics of art. She worked as a designer in Germany. Now she is living in Austria.
She started painting in Uzhhorod, although no one supported her undertakings. "I always liked to paint," she said. However, since my childhood, my mother stubbornly convinced me that an artist – an unpromising profession, poorly paid. Those days in Uzhhorod, nobody seriously perceived me, I got lost with my miserable drawings among such famous "titans" as Vadym Kharabaruk and Robert Saller. However, it was they who lent me the positive experience."
On the artist’s canvas depicted are mainly women or animals. In particular, the artist has a lot of portraits. Her main technique is acrylic. "At the beginning of my work, I followed the style of the famous artist Klimt, but now I have my own style," she says in her interview with Transcarpathian media. She describes it as "mystical realism".
Participant in numerous collective and personal exhibitions, mostly in Germany. Together with local designers, she implemented a creative project, within the framework of which it was developed a collection of clothes with her drawings.
