15 February 2017, it was held the annual awarding ceremony of the laureates of Regional Prize named after Y. Bokshai and A. Erdeli in fine and decorative arts. It took place in the atrium of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration in Uzhhorod.
So, on the results of 2016, the Prize laureates are as follows: Petro Sholtes - in painting, nomination “Best Traditional Realistic Composition” (painting “Autumn under lock and key”); Nataliia Sima-Pavlyshyn - in painting, nomination “Best Innovative Composition” painting “What is autumn?”); Nadiia Didyk - in easel graphics for the diptych “Dialogue”; Mykola Dzys-Voinarovskyi - in applied graphics for the illustration “Head of Angel” to the Bible series “Psalms of David”. Mykhailo Khodanych - in sculpture for the composition “Clinging to the dark depths”; Vasyl Olashyn - in monumental art for the composition “St. Michael”; Myroslava Rosul - in decorative and applied art for the composition “Penelope,” “He and She”. In addition, in the nomination “Art Work“ it was commended the authors of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum named after Y. Bokshai, namely Frantsysk Erfan, Ludmyla Biksei, Halyna Ryzhova, Olena Prykhodko for the art album published in 2016 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Museum founding. After the ceremony, the art compositions of the 2016 laureates of the Regional Prize named after Y. Bokshai and A. Erdeli will be exhibited to the public in the atrium of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration within two weeks. For reference: the annual regional awards in different arts (fine, musical, theatrical, literary art) were founded in 1995 by the Regional State Administration and Regional Council to support the professional artists of Transcarpathia, and emphasise their creative achievements.
