Exhibition by the members of the Youth Association of the Transcarpathian Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine

On 30 November 2018, ae the gallery “Uzhhorod”, it was presented the works by the members of the Youth Association of the Transcarpathian Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

Twenty members of the union and five candidates presented their works. Landscapes and still lifes made with oil prevailed among 35 works. However, there were samples of watercolours and pastels.

Young artists often tend to avant-garde, depart from classics, and experiment with colour, texture, and form. In addition to fine arts, decorative and applied arts were represented here as well.

“The exhibition is worth seeing because it is not that one the older generation of Transcarpathian artists presents. Young people do not focus today on specific styles, currents, or frames – they have their own thoughts, which they follow, and therefore this exhibition is extraordinary, saturated and will be really interesting for numerous people,” the artist Miklos Suto notes.

The exposition will last at least two weeks.
