Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Vladyslav Habda, assessing the works, noted: “The artist must choose a classic or contemporary art for himself. Sure, there must be a classical education, but you need to go ahead. Now the Union needs fresh members, changes. I believe that art is not for the masses, but if you go to meet people, find a common interest, you can explain to people what the secret of art is. A good picture is like a good book. It should have enough information, material for thoughts.”
One of the candidates to join the Union, an artist Emma Levadska says: “I think in the works of each artist there must be love for what surrounds him and what he chose for himself. Children also should be taught love and freedom.”
The exhibition will last until Tuesday, September 19, 2017.
