IVANOVCHYK IVAN

Member of Association of Professional Artists of Transcarpathia. 

He was born in Velykyi Bereznyi region. In 1982, he graduated from Poltava Engineering Institute, specialty "architect". Since 2011 he was Chief Architect of Berehovo, since 2015 - the Chief Architect of Mukachevo. Author of numerous projects of public and private buildings. Actively engaged in fine arts. Member of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine. 

Painting of the artist is distinguished by a variety of genres and colours. Among his works you can found landscapes and still lifes, portraits and genre scenes. He works mainly in the technique of oil painting, pastels, watercolours. Among his favourite themes - nature beauty of native Transcarpathia. The author's manner is delicate, restrained, and close to watercolour transparency. The picturesque surface of the artist's works is imbued with tenderness and calm, resembling a fresco painting. Each painting conveys the energy of the artist himself and shows his painstaking work both on himself and on every picture. Moreover, both of these processes the artist fascinates himself: "The daily work is like a prayer". He is a participant of regional and all-Ukrainian art exhibitions, as well as international plein airs in Transcarpathia and Hungary. The artist's works are in private collections in Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, the USA, Canada.
