Biography
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. In 1986 he graduated from Uzhhorod School of Applied Arts. Since 2010, an active participant in regional, national, international art exhibitions and plein airs. In 2013 he held his first personal exhibition in Uzhhorod.
The artist is engaged in painting, wood carving, decorative and applied art. Among the genres he prefers are landscape and portrait. His canvases are dominated by Verkhovyna’s natural and rural landscapes of the native to the artist Bereznianschyna, though there are works depicting wooden churches. The artist's manner of painting can be distinguished by dynamic compositional and stylistic solutions, bright and saturated colour palette. In romantically - expressional landscapes of the author the tendency to contrast in the image is shown, inherent in folk poetic style.
